These late Victorian terraced townhouses are typical of many in this area of Brighton. The walls above the front doors show that as originally built they had blanked structural window openings, where in several cases, such as in the pale green house here, windows have subsequently been installed. Beaconsfield Road here is the one-way southbound A23.
