Brighton Marina: The West Jetty

Construction work on what was to become Europe's largest marina commenced in 1971, and it was formally opened by the Queen in 1978. Development of the site has continued apace since, and there is now berthing for about 1600 yachts. The marina's website is here http://www.brightonmarina.co.uk/default.asp The yellow and white roofed building is on the West Jetty. This view was taken from close to the lifeboat station.
