Britannia Wynd preserves the medieval street pattern characteristic of Haddington, with its wedge-shaped layout linking Market Street and High Street. Although good luck finding it on some maps, as it is often nameless, along with other 'modern' names, such as Jail Wynd, only appearing in the 20th century.
