Spectators can sit round the boundary at pitch level or, like those on the left, on the grassy banks which skirt about half of the ground. Nottinghamshire supporters were enjoying some attractive batting as their side eased to a straightforward win against Somerset in the first One Day Cup match of the season. The grass was parched in the near drought of July 2026. Somerset 258 for 9, Notts 259 for 6.
