The name of the field according to Brenzett's 1844 tithe map which is bounded to the north by King Street. The length of the field in view is very much the length of the historical parish boundary of Brenzett here which is sandwiched between two parts of Brookland parish. These anamolies were often to do with which landowner or manor originally reclaimed the land back in the 13th century.
