The Covenantors church was built in 1831 under the then Minister Dr.W.J.Stavely. Covenantors are Presbyterians who are followers of those Presbyterians who signed the Covenants of 1638 and 1643. Services retain the old tradition of singing only metrical Psalms, unaccompanied and led by a precentor.
