Burton Point station

The site of Burton Point station, constructed in 1899 as part of the North Wales and Liverpool Railway which had already fallen into receivership by that time. The line was completed by the Great Central who purchased their interests. The station has been disused since 1955, but the fine station building is maintained in good condition.
