Looking down on some unusual light fittings and fish pond from the mezzanine. A former stable yard and workshop buildings at the north corner of Ashton Lane, converted into a restaurant in 1974. The central courtyard was glazed over and a mezzanine (decorated with leafy plants) was constructed to form a 50-seat restaurant area in 1976. The restaurant was designated as a Category B listed building https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/apex/f?p=1505:300:::::VIEWTYPE,VIEWREF:designation,LB52670 in March 2026, partly on account of murals on the walls, painted by Scottish artist Alasdair Gray (1934–2019).
