The wooden bench and information board are placed by the south entrance to Lea and Paget's Wood, a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) that is managed by the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, which they describe as "one of the finest ancient, semi-natural, broad-leaved woodlands in this area". Taken on the long-distance Wye Valley Walk.
