Having turned eastwards off the main village street in Scremerston to walk the road to Cocklawburn beach, I was delighted to see these two blocks of what appear to be semi-detached houses. To me, these houses have the air of the 1930s and therefore please the eye and gladden the heart, especially on a fine morning such as this. Oh, to be in England, now that Spring is almost here.
