Hagley Hall heading for Kidderminster during the 2026 winter steam gala. No. 4930 Hagley Hall is a Great Western 4-6-0 tender engine. The class was designed by Charles Collett and this example was built at Swindon in 1929. It was withdrawn in 1963 and arrived at Barry scrapyard in 1964. It was saved from there and arrived at the Severn Valley Railway in 1973. It first steamed in preservation in 1979 and was withdrawn in 1986 following the failure of a number of steel boiler stays. A lengthy restoration was undertaken from 2013 to 2022 and the locomotive moved under steam in May 2022 with official recommissioning after testing on 09/09/2022.
