Stuccoed villa built c1803 for J.W. Childers, probably to the designs of William Lindley. Shallow bows as seen in many of Lindley's houses. Grade II listed. Apparently derelict at the time - it had been the register office until a year or so before this photo - it has since been converted to flats.
