Summerlea Farm (formerly Somerlea Farm) in Charlton Musgrove traces its roots to a 17th-century farmhouse, now Grade II listed, with a mid-19th-century malthouse also surviving on the site — a reminder of its days when barley was kiln-dried here for the brewing trade. Set within the rolling Somerset countryside north-east of Wincanton, the stone buildings and red-tiled roofs reflect centuries of agrarian use and the region’s rich farming heritage.
