The Mary Barbour Mural, painted by artist Jeks, was unveiled in May 2025 on the gable end of 1198 Govan Road. It reimagines Barbour as a modern activist, blending her historic legacy of protest with contemporary calls for justice and equality. Commissioned by Linthouse Housing Association and Yardworks GRID, it marks 50 years of LHA’s support in Govan.
