Looking northwards. The use of single-deck buses on Route 60, especially blue ones, was most unusual, but was due to the collapse of the franchisee for this route. During this period, anything short of a horse and cart could turn up to provide the service. The overbridge of the ex-SER Tatenham Corner line is seen in the background.
