This small church was built in 1877 to serve the expanding population of Hucknall in the Butler’s Hill area, as a separate parish rather than as a chapel of ease. The architect was A N Bromley. Consisting originally of just the nave, chancel, sanctuary and organ chamber were added in 1895.
