Set in the pavement outside No. 109 Spring Bank is a utility inspection cover of the former Hull (H) Corporation (C) Water (W) Works (W). Approximately five similarly inscribed covers were noted in the immediate vicinity. The meaning of the letters P and F in the centre of the cover is not known; they may refer to 'Public Footpath'.
