The premises are no longer a pub or hotel, and in this 2016 view, the block with blue doors was already a private residence, as a sign on the door facing the lane indicated. Looking at old maps, this block was a public house seemingly separate from the hotel facing Market Street. Perhaps for the rougher clientele?
