The view along the canal towards Cow Lane Bridge from underneath the St Oswald's Way inner ring road bridge. The large building on the right started life as the Gaumont Palace cinema, which was built in 1931. The cinema closed in 1961 and for some years it became a popular bowling alley and members club. It is now the successful Mecca Bingo Club.
