The Brighton Veteran Car Run takes place annually on the first Sunday in November, this year the 6 November 2005, and the route passes through Staplefield. Here we have a 1901 De Dion Bouton, entrant No. 92, as it went past the Jolly Tanners Public House, which would be on the right hand side of the road from where I was standing, but is out of the picture
