Mill Road is on the right. The old A1 is called Great North Road in stretches from almost the start to the northern end, beginning on what is now the A1000 in East Finchley as it leaves the A1 Archway Road. A mile later it becomes High Road which continues to Whetstone. Alconbury is now fairly built up between there and Huntingdon along the main roads.
