Rochester Baptist Church

The church was established in 1888. The site on Crow Road was occupied by two houses, one of which was named the 'Moat House'. The two lower rooms of the Moat House were converted to one and used as a temporary place to meet. The new chapel was opened in 1907. A Christian bookshop and cafe were established in 1980, with the aim of offering good quality Christian literature to the public. In 2002 these were modernised and disabled access improved.
