A late 19th century, cast-iron, hand-operated water pump made in one of the many iron foundries of the West Mids - Lee Howl & Co of Tipton. It was Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1365234 & https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101365234-village-pump-middleton in 1989.
