The garage was opened in 1939 by the London Passenger Transport Board and this is the main entry into it from the A4005 Bridgewater Road. It has a capacity for 130 buses. As ever the internet provides a source for some group with a dedicated interest and London's bus garages are no exception! From a purely Geograph point of view (another dedicated interest!) the bus garage straddles both this grid square and Image, with the bulk of it in this one.
