The name 'Little Venice' is often applied to the triangular junction formed where the Regents Canal joins the Paddington Arm. This bridge lies on the western leg of the triangle, and is seen looking east into Little Venice itself, from which junction the Regents Canal leads off to the north-east and the last bit of the Paddington Arm, leading to Paddington Basin, goes on to the south-east.
