Mid 18th Century house on St Mary's Road, originally the vicarage for St Mary's Church and then from 1848 home to the precursor of Lancing College before this moved to its current site in 1857. It now houses a dentists' surgery. Grade II listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1286313?section=official-list-entry. The blue plaque on the front wall reads "Lancing College. The first school of the Society of St Mary and St Nicolas was originally founded in this house on 1 August 1848 by Nathaniel Woodard 1811-1891 Curate of New Shoreham".
