This new gallery provides a controlled environment for display of botanical illustrations, which are often delicate watercolours. It displays items from the modern collection of Dr Sherwood who has commissioned artists in the last 20 years, and also historic and new items from the library of the Royal Botanical Gardens. See http://www.kew.org/events/shirley-sherwood-gallery.html . It is next to the Marianne North Gallery.
