For many years there were calls for a better link between Clevedon and Weston to avoid making a long detour under the motorway. Now the calls have been answered as the Tutshill Greenway has opened recently. It uses most of the old W. C. & P. line, which meets Wick Road here. Unhappily for a new installation, the side gate does not actually close and scrapes the ground.
