This gatepost opposite the entrance to Manor House farm on Oddies Lane was once in Ingleton village. The original line of the Keighley to Kendal tollroad went through Ingleton where there was a tollhouse, long demolished, and at least 4 guidestones. When the tollhouse was demolished the stones were given to a local farmer, the great grandad of the current farmer. This one has inscriptions on all 4 faces although mostly difficult to make out the names.
