Cf. Image, which was taken half a year before the current Herefordshire flag (designed by Jason Saber) was registered with the Flag Institute on 2nd November 2019; you can see that flag on the green to the left of this image. The steeple of St. Peter and St. Paul's parish church dominates this view, and the Image is also visible. The street in this picture is Broad Street, and the north tip of it was closed from 5th to 23rd August 2024 because it was used for filming "Hamnet", directed by Chloé Zhao and based on the 2020 namesake novel by Maggie O'Farrell; the east end of Bell Square was also used for filming. This photo was taken at the start of the 3½ mile Weobley circular walk.
