The Eagle & Serpent is a friendly traditional inn situated in the small hamlet of Kinlet. Food is served. The community is fortunate to have retained this facility as attempts were made in 1997 to close it and convert into two dwellings. But the objections were so strong that permission was refused and this refusal was upheld by the Inspector on appeal. There are some more photos here: http://www.highleyshrop.co.uk/eas.htm
