The turn to the right leads to Huntingdon Road. Behind the camera Halifax Road joins Richmond Road. The pale-green sewer vent pipe has lost its coronet top, but retains its decorative cast-iron base (hidden by the nearest car). Like many stinkpipes in Cambridge, it was supplied by Ham Baker, whose maker's plate is fixed to the base.
