An odd juxtoposition of crops here with what appear to be christmas trees being cultivated on the right and maize crop on the left. A fine oak tree stands on the field boundary and a lady can also be seen here strimming the border. The recent rerouting of the A46 old Roman Road (the new road now located to the right of the fir/spruce field) has swallowed up the footpath I had been following but the field edge was still navigable and I was able to exit at the nearby garage/garden centre.
