Gala Waverley Bowling Club

Today was an open day where the club, in an attempt to attract new members, invited the public along to try out bowling on the green. The Waverley Club purchased the green at Kirk Brae from Gala Bowling Club, who moved to a new green at Scott Crescent. The green was formally opened in 1883.
