The cross is alongside a road north of St. Aidan's College, Durham. It's a sculpture, 'The Wheel Cross', by Fenwick Lawson and is part of a Durham University collection. (Information from 'The Milestone Society") To the right of the cross in the distance are towers of Durham Cathedral.
