The wheel is set outside the Maud Museum at the former Maud Station. My thanks to Alistair Robertson of the Friends of Maud for telling me that it is a wagon turntable that was built by Cowans Sheldon in Carlisle https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/Cowans,_Sheldon_and_Co - one of a pair that were installed in the Consolidated Pneumatic Company in Fraserburgh in 1904.
