Stone plaque built into stone wall by the A671, in parish of WHITWORTH (ROSSENDALE District), Market Street, Whitworth, on East side of road. Erected by an unknown authority in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- Milliariis primo me- -tatis et Milliaribus Erectis Anno.1782 {*} Johanne Chadwick de Healeyhall Armigero Thesaurio Milestone Society National ID: LA_BCRD05X
