Currently I'd say this needs a bit of a scrub-up and a repaint, but in better days it looks like Image & Image It dates from the late 18th century, and was Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1383250 & https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101383250-milestone-27-metres-south-west-of-the-malt-house-church-stretton in 2000. Update May 2025 - I can report that the required scrub-up and repaint has happened, it looked a lot tidier when I drove past a few weeks ago.
