Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of PERRANARWORTHAL (CARRICK District), in middle of small lay-by, just West of track to Devoran. Used as gatepost to a wooden gate set back from road edge, on South side of road. Erected in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- FROM TRURO 4 MILES TO FALMOUTH 6½ MILES Carved benchmark on lower face. Milestone Society National ID: CW_TOST04.
