Bridleway Crossing

Two adjacent crossing points, the nearer for horses, the further for pedestrians and cyclists. Whilst the horse crossing appears to be well used, it is not an obvious crossing point for pedestrians as the grass verge, out of picture to the right, is very narrow. A second crossing point, about thirty yards away, would be better for pedestrians but was probably not considered viable by the planners. Seen here, under construction, in 2012. Image]
