Looking west-north-west from near Ring Road St Marks and towards Chapel Ash. The building on the right must rank as the most hideous structure in Wolverhampton (even out-hideousing the nearby Carlsberg-Marston's offices). Ugh! It is Belvedere Residence (formerly Coniston House), a perfectly sound red brick building (1960s?) enclosed and transformed into luxury apartments in 2018. This was the western end of Salop Street before the ring road was built. Here is an image showing Coniston House in 2014: Image]
