The Modern Waymarker is located beside wall of church on the North of the road. Parish of Calow (North East Derbyshire District). Carved stone post, London Olympics design, erected by the County Council in the 21st Century. Inscription reads:- 159 / MILES / Calow / to / LONDON / 2012 :: we are believers :: we’ll grow a good story when corner land’s bare :: from the dark air Milestone Society National ID: DE_DSLN159N
