Kersey Mill - hurst frame This mill has 6 pairs of stones arranged as three either side of a long hurst frame with layshaft drive. This side is unrestored and had been driven by a steam engine that was removed long ago. The ground meal was moved to the next stage of processing by an augur along the front of the framing and a bucket conveyor at the far end. In the background is a large flour dresser.
