Once the grounds of Pierremont Hall, now a public park. Pierremont Hall is Grade II listed, built in 1785 for Thomas Forsyth and designed by Samuel Pepys Cockerell. The Duchess of Kent and a young Princess Victoria holidayed at Pierremont in 1826 – 1836.
