Carved stone post by the A540, in parish of NESTON (ELLESMERE PORT AND NESTON District), Chester High Road, just North of Leahurst Teaching Hospital entrance, on the verge of South bound carriageway, on North East side of road. Erected by the Chester, Neston & Woodside Ferry turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : CHESTER / 9 : Milestone Society National ID: CH_WKCH09.
