Cast iron post by the A6, in parish of HEVERSHAM (SOUTH LAKELAND District), Haverflatts, opposite entrance drive to St Anthony's House, by hedge on narrow verge, on East side of road. WCC iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 20th century. Inscription reads:- : MILNTHORPE / ½ MILE : : WESTMORLAND COUNTY COUNCIL / 1910 : : KENDAL / 7 MILES : Milestone Society National ID: WE_KDMT07
