Partially harvested field near Melverley

The farmer here had left unharvested strips of lush grass in this field. Presumably saving for later? He’ll obviously know the reason, but was just interesting to an observant and curious stroller. The large building in the background is The Old Vicarage at Melverley. I suspect this will have passed into private ownership nowadays.
