The derelict historic hall is security fenced and has a canopy for protection from the elements. Polythene sheeting covering the top of the canopy appears to have blown away and no restoration work appears to be in progress. The surroundings of the hall of some housing but mainly waste ground present a problem of what a restored hall might be used for.
