Laburnum Cottage was probably built in the 18th century, with earlier origins and later alterations. Constructed of sandstone rubble stone under a tile roof. Some original internal features remain. Listed, for group value, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1349751 Adforton is a small village in Herefordshire, near the border with Wales. It lies astride the A4110 road some 7 miles east of Knighton and about 7½ miles southwest of Ludlow. The name means 'settlement connected with Ealdfrith'. Adforton was originally an agricultural village but most working residents now commute.
