Pub at 38 Castle Street on the corner of Scot's Lane and Castle Street, previously the White Horse Hotel. The Pevsner guide gives a building date of c.1900 although earlier maps suggest that there was an inn on the site prior to this, one being shown on the 1881 25 inch map, and a publican is listed in the Kelly's directory of 1867.
